It was such fun photographing Jana and Calum and their adorable baby Lottie. I had the joy of photographing Jana’s brother’s wedding who recommended me to them. Like her brother, Jana wanted to get hitched in her hometown of Weimar, Germany even though they currently live in England. I love intimate weddings and was honored to get to join baby Lottie as basically the only witnesses.

It was a freezing cold winter morning but that didn’t take the fun out of it. We took theses photos at the famous Henry van de Velde Building at Bauhaus University where I studied Photography – next to the art nouveau free-winding staircase you can see Auguste Rodin’s “Eva” sculpture. I think this was quite an enchanting backdrop for this pretty cool winter elopement.
