Lisa and Ramses are good friends of friends and I had the pleasure of meeting them a couple times before they asked me to be their wedding photographer. I love building trust and comfort with my clients before their big day, and having an existing relationship makes it that much easier. The wedding day is such a personal moment in your life that you are likely to experience a whole range of emotions. You want to be really comfortable with everyone around you – especially with the person holding a camera on you all day.

I also felt very comfortable around Lisa and Ramses, they are two amazing people who have the talent to surround themselves with a great and interesting circle of friends. Their wedding was essentially DIY, from the beautiful decorations to the stunning dress (made by Lisa’s mom!) to the late night guitar and singing sessions around the fire. Everyone contributed and so everyone really felt part of the celebration. I thought it was a pretty perfect wedding.
